Open floor plan kitchen in Capitol Hill, Washington, DC
We absolutely loved working in this stately row house on Capitol Hill. The open floor plan lends itself to entertaining and the transmission of light through a gorgeous rounded front window. The owners who had recently moved in wanted to update the cabinetry, island, and countertops to increase storage space. They cook a lot and installed a steam oven and sub-zero refrigerator. The cabinetry features an appliance garage, a pull-out drawer specially designed for plates, and a kidney-style corner cabinet shelf which allows access to what are normally inaccessible areas of corner cabinets.

Kitchen Remodeling in Bethesda, Maryland
We loved this project because we had a chance to really lift the homeowners’ spirits. They were forced to renovate their beloved kitchen because of severe water damage. The refrigerator leaked while the homeowner was out of town. Not only was the damage extensive, we needed to design a space they loved as much as the original.
Kitchen Renovation in Takoma Park, Maryland
We were up for the challenge with this kitchen design + build renovation project. The homeowner wanted only part of the kitchen remodeled – just enough to be able to see their gardens and to facelift parts of the kitchen.
Kitchen Renovation in Brightwood, NW DC
A galley kitchen can be the most efficient layout for cooking if done correctly. That’s what we loved about this project! With floor to ceiling cabinetry, spacious countertop areas and proper lighting, we maximized the footprint and made the perfect “work triangle” from sink to stove to refrigerator.
