We transformed the main level of this Shepherd Park home into an open-concept space where saturated color and natural textures define the different functional zones. The kitchen remodel centers on a custom bamboo island that introduces a linear warmth to the center of the room, featuring a built-in dog station tucked into the cabinetry. A bold, black scalloped backsplash runs the length of the cooking wall, balanced by open White Oak shelving and a fluted ceiling beam that carries the wood tones into the dining area.The kitchen flows directly into a social hub anchored by a deep green beverage bar. We carried this forest-green tone across the structural beams and trim, creating a visual frame that connects the interior to the garden views. This intentional use of color extends into the powder room, where we created an immersive retreat using green Deco Martini wallpaper. The space is grounded by convex tulip black stone floors and a unique concrete kale-colored pedestal sink on a minimalist steel stand. By layering bamboo, metallic accents, and deep greens, the renovation achieves a unified feel across every corner of the open floor plan.
