Initial Consultation
After we’ve discussed your project by phone or video call, we will meet on-site to review the project in more detail. We’ll continue to discuss what you are envisioning, make some design suggestions, and take measurements and photos.

Design Agreement
The Design Agreement is the first of two proposals for our renovation projects. In this agreement, we explain the scope of work, the design process, and a rough estimate of construction costs. The final construction cost is determined after materials are selected.
Design Process
Your DMV home remodeling project will be completed in phases, starting with a schematic design and then assistance with choosing your finish selections. The process is a collaboration between you and your Zen designer, each with a participatory role in designing your ideal home. Your designer will provide technical and creative expertise to help you clarify your design requirements and help you select everything you will need for a functional and beautiful design.
Construction Contract
In this agreement, the drawings created through the design process are translated into a document that incorporates all facets of the renovation. At this stage, we are able to develop a final budget based on your finish selections from cabinetry to tile, and from plumbing to electrical fixtures.
Construction Process
All contracts are signed, and we’re ready to go! You are assigned a home remodeling project manager who is your primary contact throughout construction. Your project manager will ensure that all materials are on-site and ready to install and will regularly update you on the project schedule. Their job is to ensure that you’re able to relax while the renovations take place.
